Brenau University, the College of Saint Elizabeth, Mercyhurst North East and Harcum College offer reputable nursing programs. Students can complete the nursing programs at these institutions on a part-time basis.
Students can complete a part-time nursing program through Brenau University’s Weekend and Evening College. This nursing program focuses on theory, real world clinical experience and professional standards.
The College of Saint Elizabeth offers a reputable part-time nursing program that is accredited by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Participants can take all of the nursing courses at this college through part-time study. Most courses are available in an accelerated format and offered in seven-week sessions. Classes meet once a week only.
Mercyhurst North East offers a part-time nursing program to meet the needs of students who are trying to fulfill work and family obligations while obtaining a fully-accredited degree. With Mercyhurst North East’s part-time program, participants can complete what is usually a two-year degree program in three years. Classes are in session on weekends and weekday evenings.
Harcum College offers an 18-month part-time Evening Nursing program. Participants start the program in May and finish in December of the following year. Nursing classes are held in the evening. Students can schedule clinical practicums on weekends or during weekday evening hours. Harcum College also offers a Day Nursing program, which allows students to attend on a part-time or full-time basis.
