Renaissance Learning offers educators the software their students need to take Accelerated Reader quizzes. Tests are administered on-site at a school campus; they cannot be taken from home.
Accelerated Reader is a program that motivates students to become better readers through instructional skill practices that are compatible with the child's current reading level. As of July 2015, more than 160,000 quizzes are available through the company's website. These quizzes are available to students and educators whose school has purchased licensing rights to the Accelerated Reader software. The company recently introduced a new version of its software called Accelerated Reader 360. The newest version of the program features a new interface that allows teachers to track their students' current progress and set new goals for them. It also offers access to non-fiction articles that teachers may use to support their current curriculum.
