To register for Exercise Central 3.0, go to the Exercise Central website, click Student Registration, provide the required information, and hit the Submit button, as of 2015. To complete the website material, log in with your personal email and password, as well as your instructor's email address when applicable.
Your account gives you access to the website's writing diagnostic tests and exercises. You do not need to log in to browse through website material, all of which is provided for free. Providing your instructor's email address is necessary in order for scores to appear in your instructor's gradebook. Instructors are able to use their accounts to add or delete students and view student grades.
Exercise Central 3.0 designs website material to go along with certain Bedford/St. Martin’s texts. If you are using the program in conjunction with a specific text, find the accompanying material by clicking on Exercises. Locate your book on the list, making sure the edition is the same. Within the book study plan pages, you can find a link to diagnostic tests accompanying your text.
To take an exercise, log in, choose an exercise, and enter your teacher's email address. Read the instructions, and answer the questions. Click the Submit button at the end to send results to your instructor.
