Tennessee Tech University offers graduate academic programs including a Professional Science Master’s in Environmental Informatics and Doctor of Philosophy in Exceptional Learning as of 2015. The University has a variety of undergraduate programs including the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Agritourism Concentration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
The Professional Science Master’s with a concentration in Environmental Informatics incorporates direct scientific analysis methods with theories in agriculture, business and statistics to help students solve environmental problems. The program is for students with baccalaureate degrees in environmental programs or any related fields. Its concentration courses include Remote Sensing and Environmental Social Policy.
The Doctor of Philosophy in Exceptional Learning focuses on creating strategies that break down learning barriers experienced by underrepresented populations. Students learn about the challenges faced through active engagements. The program concentrations include Literacy, which is for aspiring educational innovators, and Applied Behavior Analysis, which helps students create behavioral programs that can provide support for learning environments.
The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a concentration in Agritourism prepares students for careers as entrepreneurs, enterprise managers and agritourism educators. It covers courses such as natural resources systems and sustainable tourism as economic and community development.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program covers courses in Nutrition for Health Sciences, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Health Assessment and Promotion.
