Programs available from Lagos Business School include a Masters of Business Administration, an Executive and Modular Executive MBA, Advanced Management, Chief Executive and Agribusiness Management programs. There are also custom programs that enable students some flexibility in program content that include both scholarly research and practical experience.
The school's basic MBA program has a two-year structure, with the first year devoted to the course material and a second year following internships in the workplace. Among the topics in the program are management communication, business dress and etiquette, corporate social responsibility, analysis of business problems and human behavior in organizations. The Executive MBA includes similar courses to the regular MBA.
The Advanced Management program utilizes role playing, simulation games and case studies to teach higher level management skills, especially as they pertain to integrating several departments within an organization or company. The Chief Executive program has a highly interactive structure to teach chief executive skills to those in select areas. Agribusiness Management teaches agribusiness leaders both theoretical and practical skills for succeeding in the agriculture sector. The program utilizes case studies, simulations, skills practice, group work and guest lectures by leaders in the agribusiness field, and students learn about the political, local and global implications of modern agribusiness.
