The U.S. Career Institute offers a number of certificates and degrees, including certificates in healthcare, business, legal studies, technology and services, as well as degrees in business management, entrepreneurship, financial services, human resources and social work. The U.S. Career Institute receives its accreditation from the Distance Education Accrediting Commission.
Over 20 career certificate programs are available from the U.S. Career Institute, some of which are also available online. Each program usually has several concentrations. For example, concentrations within the business certificate program are Accounting Services Specialist, Bookkeeping Specialist, Computer Essentials, Insurance Claims Adjuster and Office Administrator. Concentrations within the legal studies program are Criminal Justice Specialist and Paralegal.
The institute's degree program offers associate's degrees to qualifying individuals. Some of the coursework is available online, offering the opportunity for self-paced study with no on-site classes to attend. Additional concentrations to those listed above include Accounting and Health Information Technology.
Further educational opportunities are available through the Institute's Professional Development Series, which consists of mini-courses in topic such as anatomy and physiology, advanced inpatient coding with pharmacology and pathology, electronic health records and medical terminology. These classes give students additional knowledge and skills within their field of study.
