To print your FAFSA application, go to FAFSA.ed.gov, and click the Start a New FAFSA button in the middle-left portion of the Web page. After you fill out the FAFSA application on your computer, click File in your browser's window, and select Print.
You can choose to complete your FAFSA application online, or you can print out the form and fill it in by hand. In addition to printing the form from an Internet browser, the FAFSA application can be downloaded in PDF format. Using a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat, you can save a copy of the completed form in a digital format on your computer.
Printing a copy of your FAFSA allows you to easily recall your financial information if you plan to fill out the application in the following year.
FAFSA is an acronym for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and the Office of the U.S. Department of Education governs it. Use the FAFSA form to apply for federal and state student grants, work-study and loans. The PDF application also has a screen-fillable option that allows you to enter your information completely before printing the form. However, choosing this option does not allow you to save your data to your computer.
