Programs at LaGuardia Community College include degrees with majors such as Aviation Management Option (Business Administration Program), Computer Technology, History Option of the Liberal Arts program, Industrial Design and Music Recording Technology. The Pathways Common Core is a set of studies required of all students that focuses on liberal arts.
The school's Business Administration Program offers an Associate in Science degree with an Aviation Management focus. This program teaches foundational business topics, such as finance, marketing, management and accounting, especially as they relate to the aviation industry. Students also take courses in math and English.
The Associate in Applied Science in Computer Technology focuses on microcomputer repair and network diagnosis with a goal of training students to be field technicians and other technology workers. Courses include Technical Mathematics I, First Year Seminar for Engineering and Computer Science, and Computer Logic I. The history option of the Liberal Arts program provides a broad degree with a focus on history.
LaGuardia's Associate in Applied Science Degree in Industrial Design instructs students in sales, user ergonomics, engineering, marketing and brand development as related to industrial design. Introduction to Woodworking and History of Design are two courses in the program. The Music Recording Technology degree is available in conjunction with the Institute of Audio Research.
