An owner's manual is a book of information and instructions that a person gets along with the purchase of a particular product. While mean types of equipment and appliances come with an owner's manual, this term is often used in reference to books that come with vehicles.
A vehicle owner's manual is normally kept in a car's glove box for convenient access by the owner or driver. It includes an overview of components and features of the car, as well as specific instructions on how to react to certain electronic indicators or conditions of the vehicle. Engines, brakes and fuel systems are among the major vehicle components covered in a typical manual.
