Full Answer

CCI started its operations in 1968. As of 2015, it offers a one-time credentialing process for six CCI registry level tests and a one-time qualifying process for two CCI certificate level tests.

CCI does not offer any recommendations for the use of preparatory courses or study guides that guarantee the successful completion of any of the organization's qualifying exams. However, the CCI website features links to various institutions where review courses for one or several of its tests may be available. Some of these organizations include the American College of Phlebotomy, Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals and Pegasus Lectures.
