Where Is Ole Miss?

The main campus of the University of Mississippi, known as Ole Miss, is located in Oxford, Miss. As the flagship university for Mississippi, Ole Miss is the state's largest school, with over 21,500 students, as of the 2012 to 2013 academic year.

The University of Mississippi is a world-class public research university and has a nationally recognized law school, a medical school and several academic divisions. In addition to its main campus in Oxford, the university has branch campuses in Tupelo, Southaven, Booneville and Grenada. Its University of Mississippi Medical Center is located in Jackson. Notable alumni include Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner, author John Grisham, NFL quarterback Archie Manning and actress Kat Jackson.
