Several nursing programs offer weekend courses, such as those at Texas Women's University and Borough of Manhattan Community College. The programs at these schools hold courses on weekends and some evenings to accommodate students who work during the day. Borough of Manhattan Community College is a part-time program, while Texas Women's University's program is full-time.
Texas Women's University's weekend/evening nursing program is held at its Dallas Center. Students are enrolled full-time for six semesters. Classes are held on weekdays from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with clinical work held on weekends, as of 2015.
Borough of Manhattan Community College's nursing program can be completed in three years. Students need to complete four required pre-requisite courses before entering the program. As of 2015, courses are held weekday evenings and on Saturdays.
