On the other side of the country, Stanford University ranks as the second best medical school. This school has almost 500 students, and tuition is about $50,000 per year.
Johns Hopkins University and University of California, San Francisco both rank in third place. Johns Hopkins University, which is in Baltimore, Maryland, has just under 500 students in the program and costs about $47,000 per year for tuition. The University of California, San Francisco, has over 600 students in the program, and it costs about $32,000 for students who live in California and about $45,000 for students who have residence in another state.
