Anne Arundel Community College offers an Associate of Applied Science degree that provides training to prepare students for careers such as administrative assistant to a physician and medical office manager, explains Education Portal. Delaware Technical Community College offers a program leading to an Associate of Science degree that teaches medical and diagnostic testing, office skills and collecting specimens. This degree also allows students to transfer to a four-year program. The degree program at West Georgia Technical College is geared toward preparing students for the Certified Medical Assistant Exam. This school also offers two certificates, one focused on administration and the other on physical care and lab work.
