The SAT math portion does provide formulas. Calculators are not provided; test takers must bring their own graphing, four-function, or scientific calculator. In the Spring of 2016, the SAT will be redesigned. The math portion at that time will focus on "Math that Matters Most."
Information regarding the types of math questions appearing on the 2014 and 2015 SAT, including practice questions, are available on College Board's SAT website. Khan Academy offers a free full-length practice SAT. This practice test will help test takers become familiar with the format of the SAT, including available formula sheets. College Board offers an official study guide with DVD and an online course for a fee.
