Full-time students can complete most standard Master's in Business Administration, or MBA, programs in two years. Some colleges also offer MBA programs for students unable to attend full-time, such as those who can attend only at night.
Rather than set a period of time within which a student must complete an MBA program, a college may simply require the student complete a set number of credit hours. Some colleges award an MBA after a student finishes a core curriculum, while others do so after students complete a core curriculum and elective courses. Some schools also offer online MBA programs, which students can complete at their own pace, and blended programs, which let students take classes in person and online.
