The Ladies Professional Golf Association's qualifying schools are located in Florida and California. The term “qualifying school” refers to the qualifying tournaments at which players seeking to join the LPGA tour must play.
The first sectional qualifying tournament takes place at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California and the second at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida. The top 30 players from each of these tournaments advance to the final qualifying tournament held at the LPGA International course in Daytona Beach, Florida. The top 20 finishers at the final tournament receive full membership on the LPGA tour, while the next 25 finishers receive conditional status.
