Lead21 Reading Program is a literacy program established by McGraw-Hill Education's Literacy and Humanities Center. The goal of Lead21 is to help teachers more effectively reach a new generation of readers in the 21st century.
The program provides students with access to digital tools, such as an Online Coach and ePractice activities, allowing them to manage their own learning and build skills on their own schedule. At the same time, the program still emphasizes classroom learning, where students use textbooks to learn the concepts, vocabulary and literacy skills that are reinforced by the at-home piece of the program. Finally, Lead21 also includes a small group portion that integrates class concepts and specialized readers known as Differentiated Readers that are specially designed for certain skill levels.
