The Pikes Peak Library District's largest branches are the East, Penrose, Ruth Holley, Sand Creek and Monument libraries, based on 2014 circulation. These locations checked out more than 4.8 million items, or over half of the district's total 8.5 million circulated volume.
Medium-sized branches include Cheyenne Mountain, Rickrimmon, High Prairie, Old Colorado City and Briargate. These libraries lent roughly 2.5 million items, or a quarter of the district's circulation.
The district's smallest library locations are at Ute Pass, Manitou Springs and Palmer Lake. These branches checked out approximately 150,000 books, periodicals and multimedia materials in 2014.
In terms of borrowers and square footage, the Pikes Peak Library District operates the second largest library district in Colorado.
