A keyword outline is a written aid for more easily memorizing a speech or a presentation. It is made by taking the most important words from a written document and writing them down in the correct order.
To create a keyword outline, there must be a written document from which the keywords are taken. The speaker prepares his speech in a written document. Based on that document, he makes a list of keywords to use as guidance.
Keyword outlines can consist of the headings and subjects of every section of the document, but they can also be created more intuitively, containing the keywords from the content that help the speaker memorize his speech or presentation better.
