Full Answer

Jade Learning offers continuing education classes in alarms, national electrical code, electrical engineering, electrical inspection and other topics. In some states, state boards approve specific courses, and in other states that do not regulate courses and providers, the courses meet general continuing education requirements. To achieve continuing education course credits, electricians must complete the courses within a state-mandated time frame, answer all test questions, get passing grades and pay the course fees. If a course expires before completion, the student receives no credit.

Once electricians finish free registration and sign up for courses, they can access them at any time. The program saves their progress when they log out of their sessions. When they finish the courses, they provide their electrical license numbers for course certification. They can download and print out certifications, have certifications emailed to them or request copies via postal mail. Jade Learning also notifies state boards of continuing education hours unless the state requires the electricians to do it.
