Scott Sedita Acting Studios offers a variety of acting classes, including classes in on-camera cold reading, drama, audition techniques, sitcom character and technique, and on-set scene studies. It also offers teen comedy acting classes and one-day comedy boot camps. Former students of the school include Conchata Ferrell from “Two and a Half Men” and Brant Daughtery from “Pretty Little Liars.”
The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy offers a 16-week program for would-be actors and filmmakers. Tuition for the program is $6,000, as of 2015. Tuition includes the cost of housing during the program.
Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre offers a range of different acting classes, including several levels of the Adler Technique. The school also teaches audition skills, character skills, improv, group warm-up and movement. Other classes include on-camera craft, play production, movement, voice and music. In addition, the school offers classes in Shakespearean works, scene study, script analysis and rehearsal techniques. Registration options available to students include part-time, full-time, two-year and summer intensive programs.
