Avondale Alternative Secondary School is an alternative public high school that teaches grades nine through 12. It offers the core courses, as well as guitar, drama, law and photography. Agincourt Collegiate Institute is a secondary school in the Scarborough area of Toronto. It has an advanced placement program for science, math and French, and an award-winning music program. North Toronto Collegiate Institute is a nonsemestered public high school with more than 1,200 students. Most of its students come from upper-middle class, university-educated families.
