The difficulty of the Accelerated Reader quiz depends on the test that is being taken because different books have different levels of skill. All of the books in the Accelerated Reader system are listed with a reading level and students choose books that are within their reading level.
Once the student has read the book, they are able to take the reading comprehension test. The student will earn accelerated reader points based on the number of questions that they answered correctly, the level of difficulty of the book and the number of pages in the book. All of the answers on Accelerated Reader tests are objective questions and are about facts within the book. There are between five and 20 questions on each test depending on the book's difficulty level.
