Students in grades two to five are best suited for KidBiz3000. With KidBiz3000, students read non-fiction texts that cover grade-appropriate topics in the areas of science, social studies, arts, humanities and current events.
KidBiz3000 is a subdivision of Achieve3000, which provides online differentiated literacy instruction, engaging students at their individual reading levels, which are communicated in the form of Lexile levels. After students' are given a LevelSet assessment to determine their Lexile levels, they are presented with reading content that is specifically tailored to meet their needs. As their reading levels improve, the content adapts. Achieve3000 claims that this method better prepares students for grade-appropriate, whole-class instruction.
