Big Ideas is a math curriculum for middle school and high school that meets Common Core standards for sixth through twelfth grades. Workbooks include regular and advanced courses for middle school, along with Algebra I and II, geometry and integrated mathematics for high school students.
Created by Dr. Ron Larson, Big Ideas Math is designed to cover all of the essential skills recommended by state and Common Core standards throughout a student's middle school and high school education. Larson is a math professor emeritus at Behrend College in Pennsylvania and the author of more than 400 mathematics textbooks. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt distributes the Big Ideas series to middle schools and high schools throughout the country.
