Spatial-Temporal Math is an educational computer game that teaches math concepts to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. ST Math K-6 is the most popular version of the software, but middle school supplements and high school intervention programs are also available to help students prepare for Algebra I.
Developed by MIND Research Institute in Irvine, California, ST Math teaches key math skills through interactive visual representations, addressing both common core and state content standards. As of 2015, more than 800,000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade use the program, attending over 2,500 different schools and spread throughout 40 states. The program covers all of the operations a student needs to successfully complete coursework for Algebra I and beyond. As a teaching tool, ST Math is most effective at the elementary school level, but can be a powerful supplemental aid for review or remedial work in middle and high schools.
