As of February 2015, Duke University has no minimum grade point average (GPA) required for admission into its undergraduate programs. The school's website does offer a profile that shows the stats of students who have been accepted to prospective students who are interested in comparing their own stats.
In addition to not requiring a specific GPA for admission, Duke doesn't require applicants to get specific SAT or ACT scores, a specific GPA or for them to be ranked in a specific percentile of their classes. Instead, the school is interested in qualities students possess, such as creativity, openness, ambition and desire. Duke also considers how rigorous an applicant's high school curriculum was, requires letters of recommendation, looks for extracurricular activities and requires a thoughtful application essay.
