College of Western Idaho's engine repair program is accredited by the Equipment and Engine Training Council and has a top five national ranking.
Students of the College of Western Idaho small engine repair program also learn transmission, carburetor and fuel system maintenance.
The small engine program at Wallace Community College trains students to repair small engines for snowmobiles, lawnmowers, rotary tillers, chainsaws and more, as of 2015. Career options for graduates of the program include mechanic, service technician, small engine repair instructor, and others.
