Each nursing school has its own requirements regarding a good or acceptable score for the nursing entrance exam. However, the average score for the reading portion is a 59 and the average score for the math portion is a 69. A good score is typically above an average score.
The nursing entrance test consists of several sections that measure reading comprehension, math ability, and test taking skills. Of all the sections, the reading comprehension and math ability sections are the most important to school administrators. Students must check with their school of choice to determine what is considered a good score and what score is required to be granted admission into the nursing program.
