As an alternative, the Clonlara School is a home-based, online education program for students up to 12th grade. Clonlara boasts that the program requires no standardized testing, is a comprehensive kindergarten to 12th grade program and offers seamless transition back into a traditional school setting if desired. Summer school and blended programs are also available. Clonlara is accredited by AdvancED. Each student is assigned an adviser who supports the student and teacher throughout the Clonlara education process. The costs for this adviser, as well as official student records and discounts on additional web-based courses outside the Clonlara curriculum, are all included in the tuition and fees. Clonlara also offers an on-campus, deconstructed schooling program at its home base in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
