What Are Some Good High Schools in Indiana?

Top public high schools in the state of Indiana include Signature School (Evansville), Herron High School (Indianapolis), Zionsville Community High School and West Lafayette Junior/Senior High School. All four were awarded Gold Medals in the 2015 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings.

Signature School boasts a number 33 ranking nationally; Herron, Zionsville and West Lafayette came in at numbers 337, 339 and 380, respectively.

In deriving the rankings, U.S. News reviewed 29,070 public high schools on a number of factors, including College Readiness, English Proficiency, Algebra Proficiency and Faculty-to-Student ratio. An additional 141 Indiana high schools were awarded either a Silver (47) or Bronze Medal (94).
