Some good Christian colleges in the United States include Pepperdine University, College of the Ozarks, Baylor University, Westmont College, Covenant College and Union University, according to a 2015 report by Theology Degrees. All of these schools are members or affiliates of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
Pepperdine University is located on 830 acres in Malibu, California and is affiliated with the Churches of Christ. The university has five different schools: Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Education and Psychology, Law and Business. There are 73 degree programs throughout these five schools, as of 2015. In addition, Pepperdine has six international campuses, as well as study abroad programs available to students.
College of the Ozarks provides all students with the full cost of their education in exchange for 15 hours of work every week. The school was founded in 1906 and is located on 1,000 acres in Point Lookout, Missouri. College of the Ozarks offers degree programs that lead to either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts. As of 2015, the college has a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and 83 full-time professors.
