As of 2015 good architecture schools include Cornell University, the University of Cincinnati, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and the University of Texas at Austin. Other notable schools include the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Pennsylvania and Princeton University.
Some respected architecture programs are open to graduate students only. These include the architecture and design master's degree programs at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Virginia. Students who plan to earn a master's degree in architecture typically study design, art and the humanities while earning their undergraduate degrees.
