The Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and the Carroll School of Management at Boston University have good accounting programs. Both universities offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in accountancy.
The Mendoza College of Business prepares students to work as accounting practitioners and executive leaders by developing their critical thinking and leadership skills. The school's undergraduate and graduate accountancy programs are internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Professors study financial reporting, taxation and corporate valuation.
The Carroll School of Management prepares students for the Certified Public Accountant examination. The courses focus on the fundamentals of accounting and ethical decision making. Accounting majors must also take core business courses in finance, taxation and economics.
