Fort Bend ISD includes 75 school campuses. The district formed in 1959 when the Missouri City Independent School District and Sugar Land Independent School District combined, with many of the 75 campuses located in Missouri City and Sugar Land. Other Texas cities with Fort Bend ISD school campuses include Richmond, Houston, Fresno, Rosharon and Meadows Place. Unincorporated areas of Fort Bend County included in the school district are Clodine, Four Corners and Juliff. Some Fort Bend County portions of Houston, Pearland, Arcola and Mission Bend also attend Fort Bend ISD.
