Reset the password. Go to the school's skyward site. Click on the link on the bottom of Skyward called "Forgot your Login/Password?". Then follow through the process to reset the password. Contact the school if any problem arises.
After clicking the "Forgot your Login/Password" link, enter the email address registered with the school district. Make sure to use the email address that the school has on file. If Skyward finds the email, proceed to the next step.
Next, check for an email from Skyward. The Skyward email contains a link that allows the user to set a new password once it is clicked. Remember to write the new password down somewhere safe or memorize it.
If Skyward does not send an email, or it isn't visible in the inbox, make sure to check the spam folder. If the student doesn't have an email address on file with the district, he can contact the school district for help. It can add the student's email address and also do password resets. Check the school's website to see if it has any more information on Skyward. It may also have a phone number or email address for direct contact pertaining to Skyward problems.
