Federal Polytechnic Oko is a government-approved college located in Aguata, Anambra State, Nigeria. It offers programs in technology and the arts and sciences, and it is a member of the Association of African Universities.
Although Oko is the main campus, the college has two smaller campuses in Ufuma and Atani. The college was founded in 1979 and initially focused on science and arts programs until the technology emphasis was added in the 1980s.
The school's previous name was Anambra State Polytechnic, Oko, and its original focus was on preparation for the General Certificate in Education examination. It later offered higher education certificates. The government takeover and change to the current name occurred in 1993.
