Campus features at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, include West College, Davison Health Center, Memorial Chapel, the Career Center and Freeman Athletic Center. In addition, there are a number of student groups that exist on-site, including the Catholic Student Organization, Crowell Concert Committee and Freeman Asian Scholars Association.
West College is a university residential community that is self-governed. Members initiate and participate in both residential and campus events, including educational presentations and music concerts. The residence hall is under Wesleyan's Office of Residential Life. The Davison Health Center provides a selection of health services to Wesleyan students, including sick visits, travel consultation, nutrition counseling and allergy treatment.
Memorial Chapel is a venue for some of the university's religious services, including campus Catholic masses. The building has a Gothic design and features a pipe organ and seating for over 500 people. Weddings, lectures and concerts also take place inside the building.
The Freeman Athletic Center includes a large volleyball and basketball gymnasium that can fit 1200 visitors, as well as several other smaller athletic facilities. The Wesleyan Career Center works with both students and alumni to aid students and graduates in finding good job placement opportunities. The center hires counselors from a variety of different backgrounds to provide individualized service.
