The free, downloadable Progress Book provides exercises and writing opportunities to help children recognize behaviors that need improvement, acknowledge changes they desire and a way to track personal achievements. Charts and questions engage children to help them work through positive behavioral changes.
The first feature in the Progress Book provides 70 behaviors, and gives children three ways to acknowledge their successes by checking the bubbles in front of each behavior. The exercise also guides children to underline areas where improvement is desired. Children can then grade their skill levels for the underlined items, using a scale of zero to 10.
The goal chart breaks specific goals into small, manageable parts that are easy for children to rate on a daily basis. The remaining pages consist of progress cards, giving children the opportunity to reflect on improvements and goals.
