Some of the online training courses for the Cisco CCNA Certification include networking fundamentals, Ethernet LANs and switches, and IPv4 and IPv6 services. There are also courses in routing protocols and implementation, addressing, and subnetting. The objective of this course is to help students gain a thorough understanding of IP data networks, LAN switching technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, routing technologies and services, and network device security. Graduates also gain competency in troubleshooting network issues and WAN technologies.
The Cisco CCNA Online Training Program is offered in conjunction with major tertiary level schools and other accredited institutes of higher learning. As part of the program, students practice in interactive labs and virtual environments. Students learn how to install, configure and run a small enterprise branch network while also gaining an understanding of basic network security.
To prepare for Cisco certification, students study routed and switched LAN Emulation networks that are composed of Cisco equipment. This program focuses on Cisco router and switch configuration procedures, and, upon completion, students are ready to take 100-101 ICND1 and earn the CCENT. Then, they can take 200-101 ICND2.
CCNA Certification is granted after students pass ICND1 and ICND2. At the end of this program, they are prepared for the 200-120 CCNA exam, which is a single test that also leads to CCNA certification.
