Culinary schools that offer summer courses include Le Cordon Bleu and the International School of Culinary Arts, as of 2015. Summer courses available at Le Cordon Bleu include basic cuisine, intermediate cuisine, basic pastry and intermediate pastry. The International School of Culinary Arts offers an introductory course in Spanish cuisine.
Le Cordon Bleu also offers 10-day summer courses such as cake decorating, bakery and wine essentials. Four- to five-day course opportunities include cuisine technique, patisserie technique essentials, and taste of Asia. The school also offers 2.5-hour workshops and demonstrations guided by Le Cordon Bleu master chefs.
The introductory course at the International School of Culinary Arts teaches the history of Spanish food and preparation of regional foods and sauces.
