Paso Robles High School Culinary Arts Academy, located in California, boasts a four-semester program that covers not only nutrition and sanitation classes but also horticultural and agricultural courses as well. Students learn cooking techniques in the full-production kitchen and catering and table service skills in the dining room. Food prepared by students is available in the Academy Cafe for public consumption.

As of 2015, the Food and Finance High School is the only culinary high school available for students in New York City. Students undergo a three-year culinary curriculum alongside other academic courses. The cooking classes culminate in senior internships.
