As of September 2014, the CST Mathematics questions from years 2003 to 2008 have been released. Additionally, questions in English-language Arts, History-Social Science and Science are also available for various grades levels. Questions for years 2009 and up will not be added due to a decrease in funding for the project.
California standard tests (CSTs) are used to gauge students’ knowledge of state adopted academic content, and they indicate whether a student is familiar and equipped with the necessary knowledge for the grade they are in. These tests were developed by California educators and test developers. There are CST tests for all subjects taught in the state, and they are often reviewed to prevent repetition in subsequent releases. To use the tests, one needs to contact the copyright holders.
