Creighton is a university located in Omaha, Nebraska. The campus lies just outside of Omaha's business district. Creighton is the largest private religious university in the state of Nebraska.
Founded in 1878, Creighton university has an enrollment of about 7,700 students, with about 4,100 being undergraduate students and 3,500 being postgraduate students. Creighton has 14 athletic programs that compete in the NCAA Division I as part of the Big East Conference. Their athletic teams are nicknamed the Bluejays. Creighton is known for having a Jesuit affiliation and is one of 28 schools in the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
