To make a title page, come up with a title for your paper, and compile other required information for the page, such as the name of the course, professor and date of submission. The formatting of this information may vary depending on your professor's instructions.
- Determine the required information for the title page
Read over the instructions from your professor regarding the paper, and review the required information that goes along with the format. For example, MLA cover pages include the title of the paper, the name of the student, the name of the course, the professor's name and the date of submission.
- Add the information to your title page
Review the format requirements for the academic style in which you are expected to write your paper. Arrange the information in that order. For example, an MLA title page features the title, followed by the student's name, the course and then the date of submission. Use the same font style and size that you used in the main body of the paper and the Works Cited page.
- Attach the title page to your paper
Print out the title page, and staple it to the front of your paper prior to submission.
