The M.Tech courses at the Indian Institute of Technology and Guwahati University are some courses that ECE students can taking after completing B.Tech, according to the Hindu. The Indian School of Mines University and Jaypee University of Information Technology both offer M.Tech programs for B.Tech graduates.
The Vellore Institute of Technology offers several courses for ECE students to take after completing their B.Techs, including an M.Tech in Automotive Electronics. Other options include an M.Tech in Communication Engineering, an M.Tech in Nanotechnology and an M.Tech in Sensor System Technology. Additionally, the university offers an M.Tech in VSLI Design. To apply for these courses, most of the schools require a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in addition to completing an ECE B.Tech. There are some schools that offer courses for these students that do not require a GATE score, such as the Madras Institute of Technology, SRM University and Kalasalingam University, as well as the University of Hyderabad and Anna University, explains the Hindu.
Some students may opt to pursue an MBA instead of an M.Tech degree after completing their B.Techs. To apply for these courses, applicants must take the Common Admissions Test or a similar test such as Xaviers, NMAT or SNAP, reports College 360.
