Los Angeles Harbor College’s nursing program requires students to take 12 core courses. During their first semester, students must take courses on communication in nursing and the nursing process. During their second semester, they have to complete their humanities requirements. Students have to take an exam at the end of each unit.
California State Board of Nursing has approved the registered nursing program at College of the Desert. Candidates can submit their applications in March and September. The school does not offer evening or weekend programs.
South Florida State College’s nursing program exposes students to various clinical settings. The educators at the college equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to pursue their careers as registered nurses and nursing assistants. The school provides financial assistance to students who qualify.
Students who graduate from North Central Texas College’s associate degree nursing program can apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination. Those who pass the exam can work as registered nurses. Candidates who have ever had any type of criminal offense have to get clearance from the Board of Nursing before they can apply to North Central Texas College’s nursing program.
New York City College of Technology offers an associate in applied science degree program and a bachelor of science in nursing degree program for registered nurses.
