What Colleges Offer Degrees in Airport Management?

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Vaughn College and Purdue Polytechnic are three universities with airport management degree programs. Embry-Riddle, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, offers a master's program, while Vaughn College in Flushing, New York, offers multiple airport-related bachelor's program options. Purdue Polytechnic, located in West Lafayette, Indiana, has a bachelor's program in aviation management.

Embry-Riddle's program leads to a Master of Business Administration degree in aviation management and includes a year of general business classes followed by more specific airport management studies, such as air cargo logistics management and aviation policy. Purdue Polytechnic's aviation management bachelor's program features major courses on topics including aviation business, aerospace vehicles systems design, aviation law, aviation finance, aviation managerial economics, aviation safety problems and aviation operations. Students also get to take general business and general education courses, select from several aviation management electives, attend lectures from private pilots and participate in a globalization experience, which happens during the last semester.
