Rowan College, Centenary College and Drake University are some colleges with business studies programs. Lackawanna College and Austin Community College are other colleges with business studies programs.
Rowan College offers certificates in accounting, computer graphic arts and information technology. The school also offers associate in science degrees in business administration and computer information systems.
The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education has accredited Centenary College’s business degrees. Students who complete 64 credits obtain an associate degree and can transfer to a bachelor’s program. The school offers bachelor degrees in accounting and business administration. Students who pursue a bachelor’s degree in accounting can take courses on the basic principles of accounting, tax accounting and auditing. Students who major in business administration can select finance, management or marketing as an area of concentration.
The business studies program at Drake University prepares students for a variety of entry-level positions in business. Students who major in business studies have to complete 15 hours from finance, marketing and accounting. They also have to take business law and business statistics.
Lackawanna College’s business studies program helps students understand the theoretical principles underlying human motivation and behavior. Students learn how to apply concepts of ethical behavior in business settings.
The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the American Culinary Federation have accredited Austin Community College’s business studies division. Students can study marketing, international business, accounting and hospitality management.
